Die Tischlerei & Drechslerei Carstens hat ihren Sitz in Torsholt in der N\u00e4he von Westerstede und Bad Zwischenahn im Ammerland. Urspr\u00fcnglich handelte es sich um eine Stellmacherei: Ab 1930 machte sich Georg Carstens einen Namen mit R\u00e4dern f\u00fcr Schubkarren und Ackerwagen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sein Sohn Walter \u00fcbernahm die Werkstatt im Jahre 1955 und verlegte den Fertigungsschwerpunkt auf Fenster, T\u00fcren und Treppen. Die Stellmacherei lief noch einige Jahre nebenher mit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Heute betreibt der Diplom-Designer Hartmut Carstens den Familienbetrieb. Mit dem Wechsel in die dritte Generation ist verst\u00e4rkt der M\u00f6belbau hinzugekommen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus bedient die Tischlerei den steigenden Bedarf an L\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr nachhaltige Denkmalpflege und ein barrierefreies Wohnen.<\/span><\/p>\n
